About us

IIMAN Associates Canada is a registered non-profit organization under the Alberta's Society Act. Committed to supporting and improving visible minorities and vulnerable peoples livelihoods in Edmonton's inner-city neighborhoods.

We are founded on the principles of equity, dignity, and inclusion, providing a culturally grounded, person-centered services that address the critical needs of visible minorities and vulnerable people — including access to affordable housing, health and wellness supports, and employment and skills development.

We understand the unique challenges faced by visible minorities, including language barriers, systemic discrimination, social isolation, and the complexities of navigating a new country. Our dedicated team works alongside individuals and families to overcome these challenges through integrated programs, advocacy, and partnerships that foster long-term stability and belonging.

Whether it’s helping a family find secure housing, connecting individuals to health resources, or supporting youth with job training and mentorship, we strive to create inclusive pathways that honor resilience, celebrate culture, and support success at every stage of settlement.

Our Mission

Affordable Housing

Helping individuals and families access to affordable housing, in particularly seniors, newcomers, persons with disabilities and people at risk of homelessness.

Vulnerable populations often face significant barriers to accessing the care they need, including financial hardship, discrimination, language barriers, and limited transportation.

Pathways to Employment

Supporting newcomers in overcoming employment barriers, challenges and connecting opportunities for skills development, training, job-readiness and placement programs.

Youth Transitional Support

Helping young people successfully reintegrate into the community after involvement with the justice system. These supports are crucial to reduce recidivism, promote positive development, and support long-term success in education, employment, and community life.
